MCAC remembers the first Wildcat
Rayna Nicole DoBrodt passed away July 26, 2014 at the age of 23 as a result of an auto accident. Randy and Dana DoBrodt have said Rayna was one of the primary reasons they started MCAC more than two decades ago - she was the first player in the program.
Chasing Rain Foundation
The most important area of Rayna's life was her walk with Christ in which she knew she was a unique mind blowing part of God's plan. She strived to make that known to everyone she came into contact with. Jeremiah 33:3 - "Call to me and I will answer you. I will tell you marvelous and wondrous things that you could never figure out on you own."
Rayna loved being around horses. She developed a passion to create a nonprofit organization called Chasing Rain to provide horseback riding lessons for troubled youth, low income families or kids with special needs so they could experience her love for horses.

The true spirit of sport
MCAC is a Christ centered home school athletic program for young women and young men seeking to grow and challenge their faith and their athletic talents.
Wildcat athletics is not only about winning; it is about honoring God by doing your best, whether with school, at church, at home or on the court. We celebrate the true spirit of sport. The true spirit that binds Wildcat players is their devotion to sport and learning, faith in God, a commitment to serving the larger world around them and working together as a team.
Team scripture
Then you will live a life that honors the Lord, and you will always please Him by doing good deeds: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God. - Colossians 1:10
The Christian Competitor's Creed
I am a Christian first and last.
I am created in the likeness of God Almighty to bring Him glory.
I am a member of team Jesus Christ.
I wear the colors of the cross.
I am a competitor now and forever.
I am made to strive, to strain, to stretch and to succeed in the arena of competition.
I am a Christian Competitor and as such, I face my challenger with the face of Christ.
I do not trust in myself.
I do not boast in my abilities or believe in my own strength.
I rely solely on the power of God.
I compete for the pleasure of my Heavenly Father, the honor of Christ and the reputation of the Holy Spirit.
My attitude on and off the field is above reproach - my conduct beyond criticism.
Whether I am preparing, practicing or playing;
I submit to God's authority and those He has put over me.
I respect my coaches, officials, teammates and competitors out of respect for the Lord.
My body is the temple of Jesus Christ.
I protect it from within and without.
Nothing enters my body that does not honor the Living God.
My sweat is an offering to my Master.
My soreness is a sacrifice to my Savior.
I give my all - all of the time.
I do not give up. I do not give in.
I do not give out.
I am the Lord's warrior - a competitor by conviction and a disciple of determination.
I am confident beyond reason because my confidence lies in Christ.
The results of my efforts must result in His glory.
LET THE COMPETITION BEGIN.
LET THE GLORY BE GOD'S.
God has made each of us an amazing creation in His image.
I am outstanding, with an amazing future ahead of me.
I am different to say the least.
I strive and pride myself for being unlike others.
When others walk, I run.
When others run I sprint.
When others sprint, I fly because I am no ordinary athlete.
I reach far beyond the sky.
To say the least, I am simply amazing.
