Thanks to the support of many members of the Wildcats, the Beachy's were able to come very close to reaching their goal of raising $500 for the Michiana Buddy Walk this year. They were joined on the walk by Jeff Joyce (assistant coach - sorry we didn't get you in the picture Jeff!) and enjoyed a great day on Notre Dame's campus.

Buddy Walk is a walk to raise awareness of people with Down Syndrome and is an event the whole family can participate in. The Down Syndrome Family Support and Advocacy Group coordinates the Michiana Buddy Walk - www.michianadownsyndrome.org.  

All funds raised go toward:
● Informational Bags for New Parents
● Resources for our Lending Library
● Recreational and Educational Scholarships
● Medical / Educational Mini Grants for Families
● Educational Seminars
● Family Parties / Support Group
● School Transition Bags
● Mailings and much more.
 
A small percentage of the funds also goes to the NDSS to go toward Education and Research. www.ndss.org.
