First game: Wildcats defeated New Way Christian Academy from Odessa, TX (MCAC always seems to draw the Texas teams) by 12 points.

Next up for the Wildcats is THESA Riders out of Ft. Worth, TX the #1 ranked team in the country and winner of several national championships. Regardless of the outcome, the Wildcats will be placed in the highest division (6A or 5A) they've ever been in at nationals.
