The Lady Wildcats came into the conference tournament seeded 2nd, and started off the day with a win over Portage Christian 25-11 & 25-3 in the first round. They looked ready and confident to play from the start. In the second game they played Luther East, winning 25-14 & 25-20 after a 2 hour wait between games.

This put them in the championship bracket against Calumet Christian whom the Lady Wildcats lost to in the first game of the season. Calumet was the #1 seeded team and had not lost to any conference teams during the season. But that was about to change, the Wildcats came out strong and did not give up, winning the first game 26-24 and then hanging on to win the second 25-23. With great play by the whole team, diving after loose balls and some great net play, this was exciting.

The Lady Wildcats had to wait for the loser's bracket to finish to find who they would have to play. Calumet Christian won beating First Baptist in 3 games.

This set up the #1 against #2. The Wildcats were ready, winning 29-27 in game one. Then the wheels fell off in game two losing 25-16. Game three was back and forth, no one lead by more than 2 points with Calumet winning the last two points. The Wildcats lost 15-13.
